Freestanding sign proposal does not meet City of Colorado Springs Sign Ordinance Criteria - 7.4.409 - Major Sign Types / Freestanding Signs. Signs proposed with a greater angle than 45 degrees will be counted as two signs. Both signs combined exceed the 32sf allocation allowed by code. In addition, Temporary "Real estate" signs do not meet set back requirements. Both signs extend out into City Right of Way and must be relocated on private property. South temp. real estate sign sits with in the sight safetly visibility triangle an must be relocated.
In addition site plans must be to scale and show the sign location as well as the minimum of (2) indicated set back dimensions for proper review.
