The stop work order and Certificate of Non-Compliance (CNC) lists work within the M/E/P disciplines that was done without permit, therefore staff will need to review these items as “new work”, complying with current code requirements, and if shown on the plans as compliant, a resulting Approval will be entered. An approval within a discipline allows for a permit to be issued or permit attachment made for that specific discipline. Shane will need to review this plumbing splice as new work since it was completed without permit, and definitely may have more questions during the review that will need to be addressed prior to giving an approval of the splice. The same process needs to be done for Mechanical. Anything noted in the CNC should be shown on the plans as new work and reviewed accordingly.
