Per formal review the sign permit application is denied for the following item(s):
1. “ALPINE” wall sign for the west elevation is on a different address and requires to be submitted under 3077 South Academy Boulevard. 2. The “MISSION TRACE SHOPPING CENTER” wall sign for the south elevation is on a different address (3077 South Academy Blvd), however this proposed sign is off premise advertising and requires a Coordinated Sign Permit (CSP). 3. The existing “571-9300” wall sign on the north elevation has no current permit recorded with PPRBD, and the signage may be over the allowable. Note: The signage for the north elevation has a maximum allowed square footage of 306, and this is based on a linear length of 204’ x 1.5. The sign permits obtained for the north elevation for the “A BETTER SELF STORAGE” wall signage was permitted with 208.71 sf. and for the “CLIMATE CONTROLLED” wall sign was permitted with 65 sf which totals 273.71 sq. ft. There is a 32.29 sf remaining for the north elevation of the building. 4. The existing “571-9300” wall sign on the west elevation has no current permit recorded with PPRBD. 5. The existing “SELF STORAGE OFFICE” wall sign on the west elevation has no current permit recorded with PPRBD. Note: The signage for the west elevation for 3073 South Academy Boulevard has a maximum allowed square footage of 432, and this is based on a linear length of 288’ x 2.0.
Please resubmit the sign permit accordingly based on the above noted items.
