Denied:
Thank you for your submittal. Per formal review, City Code requires building permits to be approved as well as a principle structure on the property where an accessory structure is being proposed and permitted. Upon site inspection, neither of these two criteria has been met. In addition, the western column and the main ID sign may be in conflict with City Utilies and will require a formal inspection sign off from their department prior to City Planning approval.

NOTE: Prior to Regional Bldg. issuing a sign permit, please contact Colorado Springs Utilities from the link provided above for formal review. Your sign location may be in conflict with existing utilities. You will be required to submit a Sign Inspection Request form which can be available by emailing either the address above or kurt.schmitt@coloradosprings.gov. This form will be required with the re-submittal of the sign permit application.
You will be required to Call 811 to locate all the utilities at the proposed site prior to contacting CSU. If there are conflicts, revisions for the location will be required and CSU will contact you to discuss.
