Denied: Thank you for your submittal.
Resubmit the sign permit application and provide permission to edit the document. Staff are unable to save the application with corrections/additions to the application. In addition make sure to add the use of the property, add the tax schedule number, add the type(s) of signage being proposed along with nonilluminated, illuminated, etc., and add the “BD5A” under ‘Type of License’.
NOTE: Prior to Regional Bldg. issuing a sign permit, please contact buckslips@csu.org with Utilities. Your sign location for the directional sign may be in conflict with existing utilities. You will be required to submit a Sign Inspection Request form which can be available by emailing either the address above or kurt.schmitt@coloradosprings.gov. This form will be required with the re-submittal of the sign permit application.
Please follow instructions below: 1. Send an email to buckslips@csu.org with all the documentation you are sending for formal review including proposed locations with distances from sidewalks or curbs, etc. and detail of proposed signs including their footings. 2. Call 811 to locate all the utilities at the proposed site. 3. If there are no conflicts, an email will be sent to Kurt and you to let you know site is cleared for the proposed location. 4. If there are conflicts, revisions for the location will be required and CSU will contact you to discuss. Thank you.
