A new deck is a change to the zoning footprint and requires a Zoning Development Permit (ZDP).
Please submit a ZDP application online.
To register, go to https://www.civicgov4.com/co_woodlandpark/portal/
Once your registration has been approved, you can login and choose "Apply for Project" below "My Dashboard" on the left side of the page, and proceed with the following steps:
Step 1:
Choose the "Complete an Online Application" option and click on the appropriate permit ("Deck")
Step 2:
Enter part of the address in the "Land Address" field (i.e 704 W Woodland), click on the "Generate Search Results" button, and choose the parcel.
Continue with Steps 3 through 6 to complete your online application. Please be sure to upload your documents during Step 5. You will receive email correspondence from staff as your application is being processed.
Alternatively, you may submit a paper application to the Planning Department. Forms are available for download at: https://woodlandpark.gov/235/Forms-Documents
