THE HOOD HAS HAD SOME FACTORY SEALED SEAMS BREECH AND ARE NOW LEAKING GREASE INTO THE BACK AREA'S OF THE HOOD. THIS CANNOT BE FIELD REPAIRED BACK TO ORIGINAL. THERE IS A CHANCE THAT THESE AREAS COULD BE WELDED AND LIGHT CHECKED AFTER SOME DISCUSSION ABOUT HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS PROCESS. ALSO DISCUSSED THE 6 INCH CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT AROUND APPLIANCES. RYAN IS CONTACTING CAPTIVE AIR AGAIN TO IDENTIFY AREA OF CONTAINMENT WITHIN THIS HOOD. AFTER THAT INFORMATION IS OBTAINED MORE DISCUSSION WITH RBD ABOUT ADDING A DIVIDER OFF THE TOP OF THE STEM WALL TO TRY TO MEET THE EXCEPTION FOR 507.12 WILL HAVE TO BE ADDRESSED.
