NOTE: This plan was denied for illegal signage. If the illegal signage is still up when a re-review is requested, a $100 fee will be assessed prior to further re-inspections. The site was inspected on 07-26-2023 for illegal signage.
1. There is an illegal banner between posts at the end of North Cascade Avenue street and next to the existing sidewalk. – Illegal banner / Banners between posts out in the landscape buffer or parking lot (PROHIBITED in city limits - Banners are ONLY permitted when they are attached to the exterior of a building wall, require a permit and are limited to 90 days display allocation per calendar year) per City Sign Ordinance §7.4.1307(F)(1)(a)(5) / §7.4.1307(F)(1)(b)(7).
NOTE: Prior to Regional Bldg. issuing a sign permit, please contact buckslips@csu.org with Utilities. Your sign location may be in conflict with existing utilities. You will be required to submit a Sign Inspection Request form which can be available by emailing either the address above or kurt.schmitt@coloradosprings.gov. This form will be required with the re-submittal of the sign permit application. Thank you. 1. Send me an email (mtroche@csu.org) with all the documentation you are sending to Kurt including proposed locations with distances from sidewalks or curbs, etc. and detail of proposed signs including their footings. 2. Call 811 to locate all the utilities at the proposed site. 3. Send me an email after the locates are done and the footings of the proposed signs are marked on site to let me know that everything is already located and marked. 4. I will go to the site to verify that there are no conflicts with any public utilities. 5. If there are no conflicts, I will send an email to Kurt and you to let you know that I am fine with the proposed location. 6. If there are conflicts, I will discuss with you the options and how to make it work, and send an email to both of you stating that I am fine with the proposed location after receiving a revised document showing what we agreed.
