Thank you for your submittal. Per preliminary review, please address the following requirements:
Per City Code, location of the freestanding sign signifies the usage of the western frontage along Circle Drive. This frontage calculates out to 246linear feet which would allow a freestanding sign not to exceed 86sf x 17ft OAH. The proposed sign plan shows a 119sf x 27ft overall high freestanding sign. Please reduce to code criteria.
In addition, the fuel canopy signs are calculated at a .5sf per linear foot of canopy lenght. This would allow canopy signage up to 12sf. Under the proposed, west elevation calculates out to 27.71sf Please reduce this elevation down to 12sf and re-submitt.
Directional signs are intended for way finding and not permitted to have more than 25% of the message to be branded. Currently there is .63sf of direction and 1.9sf of branding. Please adjust to meet policy and re-submit.
Applications submitting for Electronic Message Center Signs require a EMC Compliance affidavit signed by the property owner (contact 719-385-5072 for document), this needs to be attached to the re-submittal.
Finally, all ground signs require a minimum of (2) indicated setback dimensions on a scaled site plan showing exact locations for multi-department review including Traffic Engineering as well as Colorado Springs Utilities.
