1.) Must complete and obtain approval for AL2520, prior to submitting for building permit. Please work with planner Lacey Dean ( LaceyDean2@elpasoco.com ).
2.) An accessory living quarters affidavit is required. The form must be filled out completely to include the address of the accessory living quarters (typically different than main address), legal description, and tax schedule number. The affidavit must be signed and notarized by all property owners on title. This information can be found on the El Paso County Assessor’s parcel search page. The affidavit must then be recorded with the Clerk and Recorder’s office. Once the recorded affidavit is received, upload or include the recorded document with your plan set to Pikes Peak Regional Building Department.
